Craving a Creative Carve?

12 Feb

Are are an old-fashioned die-heart romantic?  Ever had the urge to carve your  initials and those of someone you love in a tree?  Did you consider maybe encircling your design with a heart image?  What a seemingly creative thought.   Would that gesture stand the test of time, being symbolic of your lasting love?

Whoops!  What if you messed up the initials you carved or it was no longer relevent two months after you desecrated a tree truck?

Many frown upon that gesture now-a-days.  It matters to be “green”.  It is surely an activity that has never crossed your mind  to do if you have sound ecological desires to protect our environment, right?  Do you believe that trees deserve special attention of preservation?  If you are a  love-bitten person wanting to artistically proclaim undying devotion to another and do not support the urge to carve into a tree trunk…then here is your answer!

I need to tell you about a creative application that I found out about for your iphone.  I don’t personally have such a device but, if I did…I understand that there are many apps that can be applied and used to enhance and entertain your phone use experience.

Although I watched this product in action,  the product is not getting matching favorable reviews.  It is still a great concept never the less, showing strength in the creativity of people and development of ways to share that creation with others.

The app is called TREEMAIL

Hearst Communications, Inc. 2011

Here is what it does.  Used for pure entertainment, you can “carve” customized messages—love notes, initials, a favorite quote—on a virtual tree and e-mail them.

Seeing this application made me realize again how innovative people can be.
